About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Study Visa Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students through the entire study abroad process—from counseling and career guidance to visa application and documentation. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and an in-depth understanding of international education systems and visa requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide counseling to students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities in countries such as Canada, UK, USA, Australia, Europe, and others.
Assess students’ profiles and recommend suitable courses, universities, and countries based on their educational background and career goals.
Guide students through the complete admission process, including application preparation, documentation, and interview coaching.
Stay updated with the latest immigration and visa regulations of different countries.
Assist students in preparing and submitting study visa applications accurately and within deadlines.
Maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and other international education partners.
Handle inquiries via calls, emails, and in-person meetings while ensuring a high conversion rate.
Maintain proper records of students’ applications and follow up regularly to ensure smooth processing.
Provide post-visa assistance, including pre-departure orientation and travel guidance.
Key Skills & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, or related field (preferred).
Prior experience as a Visa/Study Abroad Counselor is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of international education systems and study visa processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Positive attitude, problem-solving ability, and customer-focused approach.
